The show began with a spectacular amount of pyrotechnics in the arena. Once the pyrotechnics ended, the camera panned to commentators, Kevin Kelly and Joey Styles.
Joey Styles: Welcome to the first ever Ultimate Wresting Alliance show. I am Joey Styles with my broadcast partner, Kevin Kelly.
Kevin Kelly: Thanks for the introduction Joey. Tonight we have some spectacular matches tonight.
Joey Styles: Indeed we do Kevin. The main event tonight is a match for the UWA World Championship.
Kevin Kelly: There will be two matches to determine who will participate in the UWA World Championship match.
Joey Styles: The four wrestlers participating in the two matches determining the main event tonight will be, Samoa Joe, Sabu, Rob Van Dam, and Chris Jericho.
Kevin Kelly: Sabu will participate in a match with Samoa Joe, and Rob Van Dam will participate in a match against Chris Jericho.
Joey Styles: We are sure to have one hell of a show!
Kevin Kelly: But before we get to the matches tonight, we will turn our cameras into Samoa Joe’s locker room.
The camera cuts and shows several things before finding the focus. A bright light was shining and the camera moved down to Samoa Joe sitting in a chair. Joe was sporting blonde hair from his ROH days and a black t-shirt and his wrestling attire.
Once Joe is shown, the camera is slightly zoomed out. The evil genius himself was standing beside Joe. It was the one and only, Vince McMahon.
Vince McMahon: Do you see this man next to me? That man is the “Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe. I’d like to add that Joe is the best wrestler in the world. Tonight Joe will get the chance to beat the hell out of Sabu first, and Rob Van Dam or Chris Jericho second. Who do you think you should beat in the UWA World Championship match tonight Joe?
Joe doesn’t respond at all. Joe took a quick glance at McMahon and looked at the camera again. McMahon was shown with a devious smile on his face. Then Joe made his trademark I’m going to kill you taunt. The camera cut off and went to commercials.

Kevin Kelly: Lets tune into the action in the ring.
Rhyno vs. X-Pac

Joey Styles: It looks like Rhyno has something to say.
Lillian Garcia gave Rhyno a microphone and Rhyno began to talk into the microphone.
Rhyno: (panting) I just beat X-Pac. He is too easy to beat. I want the UWA to take notice right now, especially the UWA President, Vince McMahon. I am demanding a title shot! I want my title shot after the winner is declared tonight. Hell, if I have to I will compete in another match to get into the finals. Just give me my chance Vince!
Rhyno dropped the microphone and was exiting the ring, but “No Chance In Hell” began to play on the PA. Vince McMahon and Samoa Joe walked down to the ring.
Vince McMahon: So Rhyno, you must want this title match really bad, right? So does the man standing next to me. Do you know who he is?
The camera pans over to Samoa Joe.
Vince McMahon: That man is Samoa Joe. Do you know what Joe will do to you?
The crowd has a mix of boos and some fans trying to begin a Joe’s Gonna Kill You chant.
Vince McMahon: What I am trying to tell you is this. Rhyno, I want you to have a match with Samoa Joe right now! Sabu can be in the Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam match. And that Rhyno, that is just the way it is.

Joe put a rear naked choke on Rhyno and Rhyno tapped.
Joey Styles: That was extremely unfair! Joe just took advantage of this man.
Kevin Kelly: And the worst part is that Joe is in the main event now.
Joey Styles: Vince is an evil man. The Corporation is going to continue to take over the UWA if Joe wins the title.
Kevin Kelly: And we know that Vince will have Joe well rested before the match.
Joey Styles: Of course the corrupt president will! Please change the subject Kevin. This really is getting on my nerves.
Joe exited the ring with McMahon. The camera faded off into commercials.

The camera is backstage and shows Rob Van Dam and Sabu talking to Bill Alfonso about their game plan in the match against Chris Jericho tonight.
Bill Alfonso: So tonight you two need to work together. I want Sabu to go into the World Championship match though Rob.
Rob Van Dam: Are you serious Fonzie? Sabu has no personality at all, and Sabu stands no chance at beating Samoa Joe!
Sabu appears angry, but like always, Sabu won’t talk.
Bill Alfonso: Rob, I think you need to understand my plan here. If Sabu wins the UWA World Championship, all three of us can be on top. Picture this, Sabu as UWA World Champion, you as UWA TV Champion, and you both as a team as the UWA Tag Team Champions.
Rob Van Dam: I like your idea Bill, but I think Sabu should be TV Champion and I should be World Champion.
Bill Alfonso: Rob, just go with the idea. Don’t complicate things. We need these championships.
Rob Van Dam: I’ll think about it. You’ll hear my answer when I’m in the ring.
The promo ends and it’s cut. The camera pans into the locker room of The Corporation.
Vince McMahon: Listen up everybody. I want your attention right now.
Everyone is silent in the locker room and listens to Vince.
Vince McMahon: As you already know, Samoa Joe has a championship match tonight. I am requesting that you help. If anybody doesn’t like the idea, I would like you to get up and leave right now.
Everyone sits tight and continues to listen.
Vince McMahon: I want Booker to be in the crowd and making sure nothing is pulled on us during the match. Joe needs to win this match. I want Kurt to be backstage with the television set on. If anything happens you need to get to the ring immediately. As for Edge and Christian, you’ll need to keep watch backstage and make sure nobody gets in the way of Joe winning the title. Do you guys understand?
Everyone nods.
Vince McMahon: Good.
Promo ends and camera fades into commercials.
COMMERCIALS
Joey Styles: Vince made it completely clear that Joe needs to win.
Kevin Kelly: I’m sure Fonzie is going to be angry if Sabu or RVD lose to Joe.
Joey Styles: Speaking of RVD and Sabu, did you see the tension between the two in the locker room?
Kevin Kelly: Yeah I did. I think Rob is getting too cocky. Sabu is very talented in the ring and that’s why Fonzie’s idea of Sabu winning the title is better than RVD winning it.
Joey Styles: Don’t get me wrong, Sabu is talented, but RVD is extremely talented. Have you watched old ECW tapes of Jerry Lynn and RVD wrestling? The matches they had were tremendous.
Kevin Kelly: I’m sure they were, but Sabu needs to be World Champion and RVD can be the TV Champion. RVD still gets a title in Fonzie’s deal.
Joey Styles: Yeah, but how would you feel if Fonzie told you that you’d have to allow someone else to get the title match?
Kevin Kelly: That would be kind of harsh. I’m not in the situation though, and I’ll defend Sabu in this situation.
Joey Styles: Well in the match Chris Jericho has been placed in a difficult situation. RVD and Sabu are allies.
Kevin Kelly: Y2J will hold his ground in the match. I’m positive that RVD and Sabu will break down and beat each other up, and Y2J will take advantage of the situation and pick up the win.
Joey Styles: I’ll feel bad if Y2J wins. Jericho will be up against the entire Corporation.
Kevin Kelly: That’s true. Lets go ahead and enter our next match between Sting and Jerry Lynn.
Jerry Lynn vs. Sting
Referee: Mike Chicda
The camera panned over to a tight shot of Jerry Lynn walking out of the curtain with “A Test of Faith” over the PA. A medium shot was created of Lynn as he pointed at the ring. Another tight shot of Lynn high-fiving fans was created. There was a wide shot of Lynn entering the ring. Lynn went to the northeast corner and stretched in preparation of the match.
“A Test of Faith” stopped playing. The lights turned out. Everything was dark in the Delta Center. Suddenly “Seek and Destroy” began to play over the PA. Clouds faded through the arena and the lights arose. Sting walked from behind the curtain with his trademark jacket and baseball bat. The crowd began to cheer when Sting began to walk down the ramp. Sting entered the ring and took his jacket off to get into his shirt that had a white scorpion on it and he had wrestling tights on. Everything was calm for several seconds and BANG! Sting hit the southwest corner’s turnbuckle with his black baseball bat. Lynn looked scared, but Sting knew he had to utilize the fear Lynn had built up.
Lillian Garcia: Introducing to my right, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, weighing in at 212 pounds, and standing at five feet and eleven inches, this is Jerry Lynn!
Jerry Lynn raised his arm and put a giant smile on his face for the crowd.
Lillian Garcia: And his opponent, from Venice Beach, California, weighing in at 252 pounds, and standing at six feet and two inches, this is Sting!
Sting put his hands on his hips and stared at Lynn. The crowd had a mixed reaction for Sting.

Sting quickly crawled himself over to the southern rope and Lynn had to break the hold.

There was a quick cut into the locker room of Chris Jericho.
Jericho just showed up to the arena, and entered his locker room. Once Jericho had set his bag down, Bill Alfonso was in his locker room to talk to him.
Chris Jericho: What do you want?
Bill Alfonso: I want to warn you.
Chris Jericho: What in the hell do you need to warn me about?
Bill Alfonso: The warning comes with a decision.
Chris Jericho: If you think I am going to help you with your plan…
Bill Alfonso: Listen Chris, this plan will be effective for you and me.
Chris Jericho: Really?
Bill Alfonso: Yes. Rob Van Dam and Sabu are in that match with you because of Vince McMahon’s plan to have the Corporation take over the entire UWA.
Chris Jericho: What’s your point right now?
Bill Alfonso: My point is that you need to keep your strength and power to help Rob and Sabu. The three of you need to stand together.
Before Jericho can respond, Vince McMahon walks into Jericho’s locker room.
Vince McMahon: Hey you two. I’d like to inform you two that if there is a match under five minutes between RVD, Sabu, and you, Jericho, there will be an automatic crowning of Samoa Joe.
Bill Alfonso: That’s ridiculous! You can do this to us, but Joe got a match with Rhyno, a man who’d already been in a match.
Chris Jericho: Vince, you make me sick. I should beat the hell out of you right here.
Vince McMahon: I dare either of you to put a damn hand on me. I’ll have the Corporation down in this locker room quicker than you can say a damn word!
Bill Alfonso: You bastard!
Jericho held Alfonso back and McMahon left the room with a smirk on his face.

Gene Okerlund: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, I am Gene Okerlund, here with the man who just defeated Sting, Jerry Lynn. My first question for you Jerry is, what do you is in your future in UWA?
Jerry Lynn: I think I’ll be the World Champion soon. I’ll even go to the Corporation if I have to. If you’re watching Vince, I’ll help you tonight, I’ll make sure that Samoa Joe wins the World Championship.
Gene Okerlund: Those are some very strong words Jerry.
Jerry Lynn: You’re damn right they are strong. I’m on a roll and I’ll do what I have to.
Gene Okerlund: So why do you think the Corporation is the faction you should help? Why wouldn’t you help RVD and Sabu?
Jerry Lynn: Jesus Christ! This is really simple math Gene. You need to understand that the Corporation is the group to be in right now. Fonzie’s coalition of RVD and Sabu isn’t strong at all. If RVD or Sabu wins the World Championship tonight, I will go out there and beat the hell out of either of them to pick up the World Championship.
Gene Okerlund: So you think you can beat RVD and Sabu?
Jerry Lynn: There is no question. I can beat RVD and Sabu in a 2 on 1 match if I have to. Samoa Joe is a work in progress that Vince is creating. I want to help Vince with this creation of the monster, Samoa Joe. So I just want Vince to know that I am here for him and Joe. I’ll help Joe get the World Championship, but I want a championship match if I help Samoa Joe.
Vince McMahon walks into the interview area where Jerry Lynn and Gene Okerlund are standing and begins to speak.
Vince McMahon: Hand me that damn microphone Gene.
Gene handed Vince the microphone right away. Vince begins to look at Jerry Lynn.
Vince McMahon: Hey Jerry, I appreciate your offer. I’d love to have your help tonight. Just get out to the ring soon because the main event is going to be on soon. I hope you can beat whoever shows up to wrestle the corporate monster, Samoa Joe.
Jerry Lynn: I’ll be there Vince.
Vince McMahon: Call me Mr. McMahon.
Cut.
Joey Styles: Wow, Vince has Jerry ready to help the cause.
Kevin Kelly: The corporate monster, Samoa Joe, is about to go out and try to beat the hell out of who gets in his way.
Joey Styles: Jericho, RVD, or Sabu will be in trouble if they can’t work together. You have to remember that Vince will have every corner of this arena surrounded.
Kevin Kelly: Joey, you have to realize that Vince is a mastermind.
Joey Styles: Well that’s true, and I think we’ll witness Joe win the UWA World Championship tonight.
Kevin Kelly: Man I hope we don’t. That ungrateful corporate monster doesn’t deserve it!
Joey Styles: We’ll have to deal with it if it happens.
Kevin Kelly: Well, lets head into the Corporation’s locker room before the co-main event.
Cut.
Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Sabu
Referee: Justin King
UWA came back with the entrance of Chris Jericho. Sabu and Rob Van Dam were in the ring with Bill Alfonso in their corner. Fire went into the air and Jericho turned around with his signature taunt of moving his arm back before beginning to walk down the entrance ramp. Jericho walked slowly on the ring apron and turned around before doing his signature arms through the top rope taunt with the spotlight on him in the darkness. Jericho remained in the taunt for five seconds before turning around and entering the ring. The lighting slowly went back to normal. Howard Finkel took over with introductions.
Howard Finkel: In the southwestern corner, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, weighing in at 226 pounds, and standing at six feet tall, this is Chris Jericho!
The fans cheered for Jericho. The camera quickly zoomed in on Jericho’s face, and Jericho flipped his long, blonde hair around.
Howard Finkel: His opponent, in the northeastern corner, managed by Bill Alfonso, from Battle Creek, Michigan, weighing in at 245 pounds, and standing at six feet tall, this is Rob Van Dam!
A tight shot of Rob Van Dam doing his signature RVD finger point-to-self taunt is made before the last introduction to this match is made.
Howard Finkel: And the third and final opponent, in the southeastern corner, managed by Bill Alfonso, from Bombay, Michigan, weighing in at 222 pounds, and standing at six feet tall, this is Sabu!
A tight shot of Sabu pointing into the sky is created before the match begins.
The referee rang for the bell and the match went underway. Sabu and Rob Van Dam began to corner Jericho in the corner. The duo began to kick Jericho repeatedly, but Jericho acted as if he knew what he was supposed to do. Jericho fell directly onto the ground and pointed at Sabu and told him to pin him. Van Dam allowed Sabu to go for the pin.

Bill Alfonso: What are you doing?
Sabu and Van Dam began to brawl in the ring. Van Dam began a series of kicks on Sabu’s leg, but Sabu quickly fought back with punches and kicks of his own. Jericho rolled Sabu over and went for a pin.

Jericho won the match and the Corporation’s music hit the PA system.
Samoa Joe walked out to the ring with Vince McMahon.
Joey Styles: This music signals bad news.
Kevin Kelly: Yeah, it also signals an uneven match.
Joey Styles: I hope Fonzie stays at ringside for Jericho.
Kevin Kelly: Jericho needs Fonzie at his side right now.
Joe entered the ring and Jericho stared intensely at him. Alfonso stayed at ringside with Sabu and Van Dam. You could tell that the team of Van Dam and Sabu couldn’t get along at ringside because Sabu looked furious.
Joey Styles: It looks like he will stay there with the team.
Kevin Kelly: Good. This match is about to be underway.
Samoa Joe vs. Chris Jericho
UWA World Championship
Referee: Justin King
Jericho went directly after Joe with a series of strong punches. Joe wasn’t affected at all and Jericho appeared to be confused. Jericho tried kicking Joe’s leg, but Joe didn’t fall at all. Joe slapped Jericho in the face.
The camera panned over to McMahon’s face and showed a devilish smile on McMahon’s face.
Jericho lied on the ground and Joe began to kick Jericho’s head in. Joe continued to deliver the kicks to the face and torso of Jericho. The bruises were beginning to show on Jericho. Joe went for a pin.

T-
Jericho surprisingly kicked out. Joe ran to the eastern ropes and Alfonso blew the whistle extremely loud, and Van Dam tripped Joe. Jericho took advantage of the moment and cued for Van Dam and Sabu to pull Joe out of the ring, and then Jericho hit Joe in the jaw with a baseball slide. Joe appeared to have minimal damage, but it was enough damage for Jericho to take control of the match. Jericho tossed Joe back into the ring. The Corporation’s leader, Vince McMahon looked angry and could easily have his face read. McMahon’s face read that he had evil intentions on his mind. From the old, drooping face, to the wicked twisted smile on his face at times when Joe began to dominate. The camera went back into the ring and Jericho ran over to the eastern ropes and missed a clothesline, Joe took advantage of the situation and allowed Jericho to run into the western ropes where McMahon tripped him. Jericho fell to the ground, where Joe picked Jericho up by his long, blonde hair. Joe put Jericho in a vicious rear naked choke.
Alfonso got onto the ring apron and distracted the referee. Joe let go of the rear naked choke and went after Alfonso. Joe sprinted towards Alfonso, but Alfonso dropped the top rope and Joe went flying to the outside. The referee went back to the center of the ring and tended to Jericho, meanwhile Van Dam and Sabu beat the hell out of Joe on the outside. Van Dam and Sabu tossed Joe back into the ring and Jericho got back up. Jericho went for a lionsault and went for the pin.

Jericho seen the move didn’t work, and he locked the Walls of Jericho in. Joe looked like he was in extreme pain. The referee paid attention to Joe and noticed that he wasn’t going to tap. The pain didn’t even sink in on Joe’s face! Joe went ahead and lifted Jericho up with a lift on his hands. Jericho fell on his face. Joe began to punch Jericho’s face repeatedly before going for the pin.

Joe then went for a rear naked choke and locked it in. Jericho was locked into the hold and was about to be passed out. Alfonso got onto the ring apron again. Joe didn’t bother to get distracted. Alfonso quickly got off of the ring apron and Jericho was passed out. Joe won the UWA World Championship.
McMahon ran into the ring with the UWA World Championship. Joe stood with his arms up in the air, and McMahon put the championship around Joe’s waist. The rest of the Corporation came out to the ring and celebrated with Joe and McMahon. Alfonso, Van Dam, and Sabu looked disappointed as they walked away from the ring.
Would the UWA become normal again?
Will The Corporation take over the UWA completely?
What will happen next week?

If anything happens you need to get to the ring immediately. As for Edge and Christian, you’ll need to keep watch backstage and make sure nobody gets in the way of Joe winning the title. Do you guys understand?
Everyone nods.
Vince McMahon: Good.
Promo ends and camera fades into commercials.

Cut.
